A Little Fulham, Non-Bradley News

Just two quick bullets here:

• Various sources reporting that Eddie Johnson is now back in London ready to–hopefully–start off a new campaign with the Cottagers. Reports says Johnson was to be sold to Greek club Aris where he finished up last year, but Fulham asked for too high a transfer prices, somewhere in the range of $500K to $1M.

Carlos Ruiz–he of the stomp job on Tim Howard’s head back in June of 2007–is set to be the replacement, according to MLS Soccer.

• Meanwhile, Ottmar Hitzfeld is rumored by some to be on Fulham’s radar. Hitzfeld was replaced by Jurgen Klinsmann at Bayern Munich back in 2008.

  2. Saw that BB news with Fulham, interesting stuff. Seems like a bit of a surprising choice but I guess we’ll see.

Possibly the most interesting part of that MLS article is that Adu is back in Greece training with Aris, I’d love to see him work something out on his contract there so he can get some more playing time.
