Already scored a brace!

Sorry for being a little slow and incredibly brief..

Many a good game going on in every league ranging from the EPL to MLS.

Deuce already has a brace against Wigan…hatrick hero?

Big game though starts in 90 minutes when we’ll find out which one of United or Spurs is the real deal! On the other side of Manchester, City are currently down a goal to Wolves and Blackburn are holding Chelsea to a 1-1 draw!

Meanwhile in La Liga, Hercules takes on Real Madrid. The irony of this match up is not lost on us, but this is certainly a potential banana skin for the Madrid giants. The recently promoted club has already beaten Barcelona and Sevilla and tied Villarreal.

UPDATE: Herucles Hercules Hercules! are up 1-0 thanks to Juventus old boy Trezequet

The Bundesliga is already a goal fest with 4 of the 6 games producing 3 goals or more. Still incredibly refreshing to see the usual suspects no where near where they usually are.

Sunday in the MLS, the Galaxy visit Quest field to take on the Sounders. Which attacking force will break through? Freddy Montero and Blaise Nkufo lead the line for Seattle and they have been unstoppable lately, but the Galaxy’s defense has been superb all year. This is turning to a bit of a grudge match and Seattle are keen to paint themselves as loveable underdogs against the star studded Galaxy. We shall see!

Good goals by Dempsey basically playing the striker role until AJ came on late 2nd half. Demebele and Dempsey combined well, and Fulham had a much needed boost from Danny Murphy and Simon Davies in the midfield. The return of Duff would really set things up well for the busy Premiere League winter.

Edu scores and comes off at halftime… not sure why. Maybe they didn’t want to give him the chance to score another own goal. Rangers concede the draw anyways.

Grella scores again for League One Carlysle for the draw. Gold Cup possibility??

So with dempsey playing striker so much i think it might be time to let him just stay up top and have holden and lando on the outside!

I agree 100%. That way the USMNT can accomodate all the midfielders and not have Deuce drift out wide

Honestly, this was the best game that I have seen Deuce have in a long while. He was very energetic, moving around the field quickly. He was always calling for the ball, and turning very smartly when he received it. The almost third goal was a thing of beauty. His body shape looked perfect to send that ball to the back of the net.

    Great game.

Also, Stu is playing out of his mind. Most tackles (50) and a high completion rate (66%). Coyle did good business there. Read a prediction that he will be the next American to play in a semi-final of a major European cup (weird prediction, right?). That may be right. Man Utd need some midfielders…
