Worth noting as well that there will be no Darlington Nagbe tonight as he is out after surgery on a sports hernia.

The last Timbers lineup against Sporting KC (0-0 draw)was:

Perkins, Purdy, Brunner, Futty, Wallace, Hall, Lowry, Marcelin, Nagbe, Cooper, Umony

Last Seattle lineup against Chicago FC (1-0 win)was:

Keller, Hurtado,Parke, Gonzalez, Alonso, Riley, Evans, Zakuani, Montero, Fernandez, Nkufo

For you Sounders fans, the official website will AS WELL be streaming all three games.

As well as on the Whitecaps website.

Those URL’s will become available on the main page (I would assume)
    Timbers streaming – http://www.portlandtimbers.com
    Seattle streaming – http://www.soundersfc.com
    Whitecaps streaming – http://www.whitecapsfc.com

I used to live in Longview (one of the cities on I-5 between portland and seattle)…wouldve loved to be around for this rivalry.

thank god some matches are finding their way legitimately to streaming format! Those fan sections are amazing: nifty what a little pro team deprivation does for MLS attendance.

Kenny Cooper looking very strong here as his rebound leads to Portland’s first score. 1-0 in the first half.

    Sal Zizzo looks spunky too.

I would commentate but instead I am drinking Bridgeport and watching.

Having said that Portland is pushing down the right side with the Zizzo combination. Seattle meanwhile is still looking for that final ball.

    Dear Seattle:

That wasn’t an exhibition. That was an example.

    HAHAHAHAHAH!

Anyway, Nagbe changes our team a whole lot for the better when he’s in. For one thing, Hall moves back next to Wallace. For another, we’re then attacking down both flanks, not parking the bus in the second half like we did, although we held up for a clean sheet even with everybody hating on our back line.

And yes, I say “we” when referring to my Timbers. I’ve been to matches since 2001, and am responsible for a couple three other TA by myself.

I imagine the Scum will be more dangerous in the regular season. But we’re no USL team anymore, either, and I’m over the moon.

    Kisses,
    Johninho
