Real Salt Lake Scratches For Solid Result

Good teams find the way.

Real Salt Lake with not one, but two critical away goals to level the match both times as the visitors on the road in Monterrey played like it was already crowned the champion. Impressive.

Great performances all around, but Nick Rimando….aggressive…on the road?! Tops.

Maybe a freak spring snowstorm for the return leg? Of course, such a storm in SLC wouldn’t exactly be freak, or even unheard of.

Nice result and gutsy effort overall by Real Salt Lake. The finals in Salt Lake is going to be huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge.

Wow. So the Monterrey player is allowed to put his hands on Saborio’s throat and walk away with only a yellow?! Not an expert in the rules in this situation, but shouldn’t that be an ejection?

Congrats to RSL. Good luck in the home leg without Becks. I’d take him over that other Becks any day of the week.

If I’m allowed to digress, pretty good day going on for Yanks in Europe.
