Arsenal have dominated this games and have created numerous chances, but somehow it’s 1-1. Do Canaries have nine lives too?

Have you seen all of the ridiculous goal line clearances Norwich players have made? Crazy.

The one cleared from Walcott was just ridiculous, not sure how Martin did that. The other ‘clearances’ were down to bad finishing if that makes sense. They should never have been allowed to happen, Arsenal should have buried them – rather than spectacular defending…

Per Mertsacker is a train wreck. If that was an American player the press would have dressed him down that much further like they do when Tim Howard gives up goals.

Walcott–over the past few games–looks like he’s understanding the game better. Great to see for Arsenal and England.

Mertesacker is a joke. The guy has less strength than Goodson and basically just tripped over his own feet giving up that goal.

Now now, Matt. Let’s not get all Alexi Lalas on us! It was horrendous defending, that required Mertesacker to deal with it. Let’s be fair, he dilly dallied on the ball in his own box and got caught. It should never have happened.

Walcott is on fire. I have been saying this for a few seasons now that he’s legit. Hopefully he can stay fit. Would like to see and England offensive four of Walcott, Johnson, Rooney and Gerrard. Hopefully we’ll see this next summer. But knowing Capello he’ll take SWP…

Is there a fixture between two top teams (within their own league) as consistently entertaining as Bayern-Dortmund over the past two years? Discuss.

DORTMUND!!! What a win! There is some club soccer to get excited about this year thankfully. That game would be good viewing for Defending 101. Excellent defending from both sides.

Don’t like the huge box for the name/number. Stripes should go all the way ’round.

I agree with the huge box analysis (that’s what she said.)

      -and-

Does this mean USA fans can finally cheer “C’mon the Hoops!”?

I don’t have a huge problem with DeRo winning MVP, but he seems more of a fantasy sports MVP than a true MVP. I’m not saying he’s not a good player, or teams don’t win more when he’s around, but I just don’t know if he deserved it this year.

  7. I saw that, and really the only problem I have with this is that DC didn’t make the playoffs. To be the most valuable player you would think that you would have been able to lead your team to playoffs. To be fair to DeRo when he finally moved to DC, they had already dug themselves into a pretty big hole.

And you’re done Dikranovich. Don’t have the time to mind your flaming and your fan boy stuff. This is the wrong place.
