It’s Tuesday.
It’s cold.
And it appears that Geoff Cameron is about to be Shawcrossed–Ryan that is as a transfer to EPL bottom-feeder Stoke looks around the corner.
All the news here in this piece, but the basics are. Cameron to Stoke City for $2.7M, the Dynamo support the transfer and they’re just waiting on the league.

I’m sorry I couldn’t help but laugh when i thought I saw Cameron to Stoke for 2.7 Billion Dollars. Yeah, I’d say Houston made out pretty good on that one.
Let’s hope things work out for Cameron- might be the most critical piece of USMNT in 2014.

ha, yeah…as a Dynamo season ticket holder, my only thought about this transfer is “NOOOO!”, but I could be convinced by $2.7 billion. (=

Good time for him to make a move. It will be very interesting how he fits into Stoke’s long ball style with his ball playing abilities in the back.
Will he get a work permit? I don’t remember him being involved in enough USMNT games to qualify.

Maybe Rory Delap can teach him to make those long throws into the box, so with the USMNT he can look for Freddy Adu to his Spud Webb imitation and head it home.

Or something like out of Kicking and Screaming where Freddy rides on Gooch’s shoulders. I would pay good money to watch that
