Careful what you wish for. Rodney Wallace played last time and scored his first national team goal after coming off a terrible club campaign.

Please let Roy Miller keep jumping with his hands up, flailing in the box, please let Roy Miller keep jumping with his hands up, flailing in the box, please let Roy Miller keep jumping with his hands up, flailing in the box…

Very concerned about this game. Lot of speed in that Costa Rica team, and we have a nasty habit of getting burned on the counter and by the long-ball over the top.

As always, we’ll need a big game from Bradley in central midfield. Desperately need to control the tempo for this one.

Off topic but great to see Amobi Okugo named to the FIFA Ultimate Team of the Week the only guy from MLS, and the first guy from MLS that I can remember in awhile. I know it sounds like a joke being awarded to a team of the week on a videogame, but I think its pretty cool. More and more people can learn about him through different avenues that might not have ever heard of him. I definitely see Okugo as being successful in Europe and with the USMNT soon. I rate him as a more talented Maurice Edu.

when is the US roster supposed to come out? is it me or are we typically released much later than other teams? i see costa rica and mexico are already out for the upcoming matches.

The players can’t be released until after this weekend anyways so I’ve never understood what all the fuss is about with the US releasing the roster later than others. Klinsmann has stated that it’s because they’re just making sure everyone they’ve called gets through the weekend healthy before releasing the final roster which I have no problem with it.

It’s not like the players would get to camp sooner if they had released to the roster at the same time as Mexico or Costa Rica.

thanks Eric. Klinsmann’s perspective about players getting through the weekend uninjured suffice. all the other comments belittling my simple question not needed.

I apologize BW. I wasn’t trying to make it sound like I was belittling your question. I think I’ve simply gotten tired of people on other boards (SBI’s site is rampant with this) whining about it.

It was a good question, just one I think I’ve answered elsewhere many times so I apologize if I came off a little snippy.

DC United have looked acceptable-to-good for maybe 20 minutes of 270 and yet have 4 points. I’m not sure whether to be worried, infuriated, or pleased to have stolen some extra points.

Only 1 goal in 270 minutes. Problems. (I want my Boskovic back!)

Chelis may be wrong and hilarious, and I’m not sure how successful he’ll end up being, but my god is he entertaining: http://bit.ly/WxHOwR
