Entry #2: Anthology – USA vs. CONCACAF

About the creator: Entry #2 comes from John Santos, who participated with in the 2010 contest with “The United States of Golazo.” That video had some serious fire-it-up character.

I probably should have let John introduce this competition as he was the one who asked and requested a 2011 contest. His words?

Hopefully another one  of these contests helps to raise a little more awareness about the Gold Cup.  People tell us that it’s not important or glamorus the international soccer powers aren’t involved.  I say lets all do what we can to at least try to make it the Gold Cup as important and glamorus as possible.

Don’t You Tread On Me

About the creator: K.L. Cleeton is a junior at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana (or UoIaCU).

Check this out. He became a fan of the USMNT when a high school friend and Illinois’ #1 overall defender, Cody Johnson, tried out for the U-17 team. K.L. counts three fan caps to his resume including Big Jeezy’s 3-spot against Trinidad & Tobago.

Cody, for his part, made the reserves, but unfortunately encountered a knee injury.

Note: This will be the final entry in the Don’t Tread Challenge. Voting will begin taking place next week.
